Utah law makes it easier to run one truck in many cities. Under Utah Code 11-56, a city must accept your current health permit and fire safety inspection from another Utah jurisdiction, and it can't make you buy a second business license. That only pays off if your truck passes the first time, so we build to the plan review you're most likely to face first, often Salt Lake County's.
Utah Health Code Compliance: Salt Lake County, Utah County and Weber-Morgan each run their own plan review. Salt Lake County, for example, requires a 10-gallon minimum fresh water tank, a wastewater tank 15% larger, a hot and cold handwash sink and a permitted commissary. We size and lay out your unit around the rules of the county where you'll be permitted.
